Nuance reportedly in talks of a sale to Samsung

Nuance Communications has reportedly been in discussions with companies for selling off the company. According to Wall Street Journal’s sources, the company has been in talks with quite a few private equity firms but the report singles out Samsung as one of the contenders.

Nuance Communications’ technologies are used in Samsung devices and even provide solutions to Samsung competitors like Apple, LG, ZTE and more.

Nuance sells speech-recognition suite and is even known for its Android keyboard, Swype.
