Unboxing Samsung’s first Tizen smartphone

January 21, 2015 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung Z1

Samsung announced its first smartphone running the homegrown Tizen OS in India last week and we managed to get one to see if it will pose a threat to any of the existing mobile operating systems. We’ve been playing with the device for a few hours now and though we’ll reserve our comments for the detailed review, our first impression of the device is that it has a fairly nice build quality and is more or less similar to the TouchWiz UI we’ve on the Galaxy devices running on Android OS.

The phone currently retails for Rs. 5,500 in India.
