Samsung’s 2013 flagship phone – Galaxy S4 is now available at a nice discount on Amazon India. The online retailer is selling the I9500 (Exynos 5 Octa) variant for a price of Rs. 17,999 and also throws in a Rs. 1,000 gift card. The discounted price is applicable on the regular Frost White colour that has a plastic back or the Deep Black version aka the Black Edition with a faux leather finish.
Given the deep discount, it seems Amazon is offloading the stock to make way for the upcoming flagship phone but Galaxy S4 is still a good device despite some heavy competition from Chinese smartphone makers.
Samsung recently started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S4 in India and features a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 13 megapixel camera, microSD card slot and 2600mAh battery.
