Samsung enhances movie theatre experience with Onyx Cinema LED Screen

Samsung has launched its new brand in the movie theatre technology. The Onyx cinema LED screen redefines movie watching in theatres. The Onyx LED screens will deliver cinema content with true, deep and realistic black colors. It also features an infinite contrast ratio and specialized low-tone grayscale settings for detailed content.

The Onyx LED screens are available in various configurations ranging from 5 and 10.3 meters (16.4-33.8 ft.) in width depending on the venue requirement. Onyx screen features surround sound from HARMAN International.

In India, Samsung has already tied up with PVR cinemas. The first Onyx screen in India will be launched in Delhi at PVR ICON, DLF Promenade and PVR Phoenix, Lower Parel, Mumbai PVR’s future expansion plans entail total 5 theatres equipped with Cinema LED screens in next 15-18 month across metros.
