What started as a high-profile legal tussle between two tech giants in 2011 has fizzled out and come to its logical conclusion. Both Samsung and Apple have confirmed to end their patent fight against each other and reached a settlement at a court in federal court in San Jose, California. The exact details are not known but according to WSJ, both companies ended their litigation with prejudice, which means a new complaint cannot be filed on the same claims.
Apple had accused Samsung of copying the iPhone design and while both companies were dragging each other in courts worldwide, this seems like a perfect move.
