Samsung Apps was launched in September last year but was only available in select countries like United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy.

Samsung says rapid expansion of the store was achieved with the launch of Wave that launched in June 2010. Wave users downloaded more than 14 million bada apps since its launch from Samsung Apps.

The store currently supports mobile and TV applications and offers apps from various categories like games, social networks, e-books, health-related services etc.
