Samsung has teamed up with LG U+ to launch their Galaxy Player PMP as a VoIP device on LG U+. The Galaxy 070 will be released on July 1 and is touted to be the first Smart Home Phone for South Korea based on Android OS.
LG U+ says users will be charged the same tariff as it is with other Internet Phones but will enhance the functionality of the device with Android OS as it will enable access to Android Market, web browser and even double up as a portable media player. Other features include a 4-inch Super Clear LCD, T-DMB, Bluetooth 3.0, 3MP camera, 8GB internal memory and microSD card slot.
