Samsung will get a chance to defend themselves against EU-wide injunction. Samsung will put forth their arguments in a German court on August 25 in order to overturn the injunction that was enforced earlier this week. Reuters says the decision for the hearing will be likely within a few weeks, which means even if Samsung were to win, they’ll lose a good month before the new tablet could be sold.
The EU-wide injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was approved after Apple alleged Samsung’s latest tablet to infringe some of iPad-related patents. The injunction is not applicable in Netherlands, where Samsung is already trying to defend their case.
