Samsung might continue to sell Galaxy S, Galaxy S II and Ace after all

August 24, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

The Dutch court may have granted a preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy S, Galaxy S II and Ace devices but it seems the sales of the devices wouldn’t be affected. The injunction was granted on the patent EP2058868 for a method of scrolling in the Gallery but according to Samsung’s lawyer, they’ll remove the app so the devices don’t infringe anymore.

Interestingly, Samsung just posted an article on their official blog saying 10 patent infringements were claimed by Apple and only one was found valid. Galaxy Tab 10.1 is safe as it didn’t violate any of the claimed patents.

Thanks, Moveplayer!
