Samsung yesterday announced the last missing phone from its new mobile nomenclature. The Galaxy M (SHW-M340) is South Korea-only for now and will be available on Korean operators – SKT, KT and LG U+. The Galaxy M is a 9.9mm thin phone that comes with a metallic back and features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, Android 2.3 OS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DMB, 3MP camera, 4GB internal memory and 1650mAh battery.
The phone will be available in three colors – Platinum Silver, Blue Back and Lavender Pink for 500,000 won ($434).

I would so get this! >_<

See, here’s my problem. Instead of diligently working on a 4.0 update to their Galaxy S phones, Samsung is steady making the same phones, different sizes with outdated, and possibly never upgraded, software.

great, a phone for those that can’t afford the S2. where is the compact but highly usable phone for people who don’t want a 4″ screen but like samsung tech? 3.7″ – 4″ screen, dual cpu or 1,4ghz single CPU, and a decent camera with a robust chassis and AMOLED screen. I had a samsung wave and really liked it until Samsung repeatedly let wave users down with delays in firmware. (bada 1.2 doesn’t run google maps for example and the webbrowser cannot keep up with modern websites)
