eyeCan camera allows users to control mouse with their eyes

February 23, 2012 By kunal 1 Comment

Some Samsung employees managed to create a mouse for the disabled and now the Korean giant has announced that they will release the source code to allow anyone to build it. Dubbed as eyeCan, the mouse is based on EyeWriter that was unveiled by Mike Ebeling at TED (Check out the presentation here) and basically helps a paralyzed user to control a mouse with the eye movements.

Samsung says the DIY guide will enable creation of eyeCan and other modifications easier and cheaper.

Check out the video showing eyeCan in action.
