Samsung Mobile’s JK Shin is at Mobile World Congress and confirmed that they’re looking to increase the sales from last year. According to Shin, Samsung is aiming to sell about 380 million handsets in 2012 or about 16 percent more than they sold in 2011.

Shin didn’t confirm the actual smartphone figures but projected to nearly double its smartphone sales this year.

Samsung announced few smartphones at MWC and will unveil the Galaxy S III later this year.
