Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 range and Galaxy Note 10.1 were announced in February but unlike the Tab 2 duo, there’s no info on the availability of Galaxy Note 10.1. The reason for it seems to be the underlying hardware, which according to a Samsung spokesperson might undergo a change. Samsung revealed the Galaxy Note 10.1 at MWC carrying a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, WXGA (1280×800) display and 3MP camera however, all this is subject to change before the final product in a bid to differentiate it with the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) which does not sport S Pen support.
The spokesperson didn’t divulge any specific details but the bigger Note tablet may get some high-end specs in order to justify its top-tier tablet price.
Anthony says
Given the position of samsung in the market right now(going UP and making good profit) it is wise and a good decission to use more power including better processor in the new Tabs. It will make it easier for people to choose it above other tablets.
