KT today confirmed to launch three LTE-equipped smartphones for South Korea, which also included Samsung’s SHV-E170K. While KT hasn’t confirmed the specs of Samsung’s latest smartphone, the carrier did say that all the phones will come with the latest chipset and a high-capacity battery.
However, a bit of web search points us to a GLBenchmark test and another Korean site that reveals more details on the device. The SHV-E170K is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor (MSM8960) and runs the latest Ice Scream Sandwich update (Android 4.0.4). The 126g smartphone also features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display supporting qHD resolution (960×540) and 5MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-facing cameras.
KT is expected to release the device later this month.
