Corning has confirmed that the new Galaxy S III uses Gorilla Glass 2. The new generation Gorilla Glass was revealed at CES eariler this year and maintains the same endurance standard while reducing thickness of the glass by 20 percent. Gorilla Glass 2 helps to protect the Galaxy S III display with scratches and bumps.
