Galaxy Nexus

After Galaxy Tab 10.1, US District Court Judge Lucy Koh has rejected Samsung’s request to stay Galaxy Nexus’ injunction. Koh last Friday granted the injunction against the latest Nexus device after finding the phone infringed Apple’s ‘604 patent related to unified search.

Samsung has also appealed to the Federal Appeals Court to lift the Galaxy Nexus injunction.

Meanwhile, AllThingsD got a confirmation from Google saying they’ve a “software patch” ready to be rolled out “imminently” that could avoid Apple’s infringing patent.

Google has also taken Galaxy Nexus off Play Store’s virtual shelves and listed it as ‘Coming Soon,’ which could very well be after the said patch is released.
