Samsung may unveil the Galaxy Note successor in August, according to MK News’ source. The source claims Samsung will reveal the Galaxy Note 2 at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin, Germany. The smartphone-tablet hybrid will feature a 5.5-inch display but will have similar physical dimensions to the original Galaxy Note and will feature a quad-core processor along with Android 4.1 OS (Jelly Bean).

As for the camera, the site says Samsung is considering to upgrade it from 8MP to 12 or 13MP but it may change “depending on other factors.”

The previous rumor suggested Galaxy Note 2 could go on sale as early as September.
