Here’s some good news for Samsung from Japan. Reuters reports Tokyo court today ruled that Samsung did not violate the Apple patents. The patent in question dealt with transferring of media across devices.
Samsung and Apple are engaged in a global patent battle with Korea fining both companies to violating patents whereas the jury in the US patent asserted that Samsung should pay Apple $1.05 billion.
