Samsung confirmed the release of the Android 4.1 update for Galaxy S III last month and it seems now is the time as The Verge reports Samsung has started rolling out the Android 4.1 update for Polish Galaxy S III users. Samsung expects to roll out the Jelly Bean update “gradually” for other regions as well.
Furthermore, the site also says Samsung released a list of devices that are expected to get the Jelly Bean treatment. The list includes:
Galaxy S II
Galaxy Note
Galaxy S Advance
Galaxy S II LTE
Galaxy Chat
Galaxy Ace 2
Galaxy Beam
Galaxy Ace Plus
Galaxy Mini 2
Galaxy S Duos
Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Galaxy Note 10.1
Galaxy Music
Samsung hasn’t committed to any timeline but it’s good to see some low and mid-range devices to get the Android 4.1 OS.
