Android 4.1.2 Firmware Leaked For Galaxy S II (I9100)

Samsung had promised to give Jelly Bean upgrade to the Galaxy S II (I9100) and it seems the release is nigh, given the leak of the first Jelly Bean firmware for Galaxy S II. A word of caution though – it is a test firmware, which means end users shouldn’t bother unless they’re ready to live the bugs the firmware might have. But on the plus side, I9100XXLSJ is said to be stable, hinting the final firmware update will be same or closer to this version.

The firmware is based on Android 4.1.2 and brings in Project Butter to improve graphics performance, new TouchWiz UI, Direct Call, AllShare Play, improved notification bar, Google Now, S-Cloud and Pop Up Play.
