Samsung has not launched a major international device in United States since Galaxy S in 2010. But Samsung’s apparently heading back to America to prove a point for the upcoming Galaxy S IV.
According to Korean newspaper, Asia Economic Samsung will schedule a new Mobile Unpacked event in March in United States for the unveiling of the Galaxy S IV. The reason for US is that it happens to be Apple’s home country and will have a “symbolic meaning” since Samsung is litigating with Apple.
In another report, SamMobile claims some new information regarding the Galaxy S IV. According to them, Galaxy S IV is identified as Altius internally and will have wireless charging support, a 2600mAh battery along with other rumoured specs like Exynos 5 Octa, 4.99-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera and Android Jelly Bean OS.
