Samsung unveiled the Exynos 5 Octa at the CES in January but has been playing coy on revealing intrinsic details. Today, Imagination Technologies confirmed that their PowerVR SGX IP will power Samsung octa-core SoC’s GPU. The Exynos 5410 will incorporate PowerVR SGX544MP core and according to AnandTech Samsung is using three cores running at 533MHz.
Samsung is expected to use the Exynos 5 Octa in Galaxy S IV and the GPU also confirms the hardware found on the leaked variant of Galaxy S IV.
