Google this week announced an improved Nexus 7 made by Asus and it seems an updated Nexus 10 is in the offing as well. The info comes through a Wall Street Journal reporter who got a confirmation from the Android and Chrome OS head, Sundar Pichai. Just like the current Nexus 10, the upcoming Nexus 10 will be developed by Samsung and though we don’t expect the display resolution to get a bump, we can expect some improvement on the CPU and RAM front.
There’s no timeline on the release of the device but it shouldn’t be surprising to see it in the next few weeks.
The current Nexus 10 is pitched as a premium entertainment device that boasts a 10.1-inch display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. The Nexus 10 now runs Android 4.3 and features 1.7GHz Exynos 5250 dual-core CPU, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, 5MP camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, microHDMI.
