Samsung S Health Buddy

Samsung’s S Health enables users to track steps, cycling or any other physical activity and now Samsung has introduced a complementary S Health Buddy app that gamifies S Health with some new features. As the name implies, the downloadable app allows users to create an animated character on the basis of the height, weight and according to a user’s workout, the buddy will lose the weight.

The S Health Buddy also features a leaderboard that will showcase the users along with the badges they earned after the workout session. The badges can also be shared on social networking sites.

S Health Buddy supports Android 4.2.2 and above and is currently supported by Galaxy S4 and its variants, including LTE-A.

There’s no info on when Samsung plans to release the English version for more countries.
