Since the launch of Galaxy Note 3, Samsung has accompanied its flagship device with a compatible smartwatch. However, the smartwatch was a no-show at yesterday’s Unpacked event where Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. The decision to not reveal one was deliberate, according to Samsung executive Young-hee Lee.
Samsung has launched six smartwatches in the last one and a half years and acknowledging the fact that they have launched “more devices than anybody else,” Samsung is holding off to make a “more perfect product.”
What is the ingredient of a perfect product? We’re not sure but we hope it includes a round dial and compatible with other Android manufacturers’ devices and possibly iOS as well.
