Samsung has always been in the forefront in the megapixel war and if the latest rumor turns out to be true, the Korean company will be credited with another world’s first title. It is expected that Samsung will reveal a 12 megapixel phone at the MWC this month with mass production to begin from the end of Feb and Europe as the first destination.
The non existence of other details might be subject to some suspicion but there is a high possibility of this being true since 12-megapixel sensors have already been developed by Sony and Sharp.
