With Kindle rocking in US, FLEPia (about to rock) in Japan, Samsung thinks the ebook reader business is the next goldmine waiting to be dug. Dubbed as Papyrus, the device will have a touchscreen display with a size of around 6-8 inches. Other details to surface is the 512MB in-built memory, stylus and is also able to take notes as well as feature contacts, world clock, calculator amongst other things.
The preliminary spec does not look to beat Kindle or FLEPia now but its pricing (around $299) tends to justify.
It will come in Korea in June followed by UK and US.
