Samsung unveils Haptic 8M SCH-W740 with Face Tagging

Samsung has got another Haptic phone to the fray dubbed as Haptic 8M or SCH-W740. The phone boasts an 8 megapixel sensor and totally revolves around its photographic features. To start with, it has Face Tagging that registers faces and has the ability to call or SMS the tagged persons right from the image. Other photography centric features include Xenon flash, autofocus, smile shot, business card recognition and automatic scene mode.

Moving from photography, it also has T-DMB, HSUPA (up to 5.76Mbps), Bluetooth 2.0, e-dictionary, microSD slot, etc. The phone is priced at KRW 900,000 (US$651).
