Samsung Mondi now selling in US

Samsung’s American division have announced the commercial availability of Mondi (SWD-m100) MID. Touted as the most advanced Mobile WiMax equipped device in US, it will take advantage of Clearwire’s Clear Mobile WiMax service that will be offered initially in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Portland, OR.

Mondi runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and features a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, 4.3-inch touchscreen, widgetized UI, DivX, 3MP autofocus camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Opera 9.5 web browser and 4GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB.

Users can buy Mondi through online or Samsung authorized distributors or could wait till Aug 1 until it reaches Clearwire and Best Buy retail outlets.
