Samsung adds new capacities to its S Series external HDD line

Samsung added two storage capacities to its S Series external HDD lineup – the 3.5-inch S3 Station and 2.5-inch S2 portable has now got a capacious 2TB and 640GB options respectively. Apart from the larger storage, these S Series drives come with the same features like Auto Backup, SecretZone and SafetyKey.

The 640GB S2 Portable will be available from this month while the 2TB Desktop drive is expected to start retailing from early next year.

Samsung’s S Series drives consisting of S1 Mini, S2 Portable and S3 STORY Station are on display at the IFA.
