Samsung YP-R1 firmware updated to v1.11

A quick note to all YP-R1 users in South Korea – Samsung has released a v1.11 software update for the PMP. The firmware update is about 60MB and claims to improve system reliability. Head over to the link below to download it.

    firmware v3.00 is already available. installed it on my R1, runs perfectly.

    @akshay: just place the rom file into the root of your player. disconnect the player, turn it off and turn it back on. It will upgrade automatically.

    what do you mean by rot of the player? Is it any specific folder?

    ok i figured how to update. But i heard about some improved user interface for which u’ll have to pay. Is it true. Where can you get it? It looks really cool!

      In the Root folder. The top-most directory in a hierarchy.

    Like, I got the firmware 3.04.. And I’m supposed to get these new fonts and themes and what not, but I don’t.. What do I do?
