Samsung will jump into the tablet bandwagon, an executive from Samsung Australia has confirmed. Product Marketing Manager, Emmanuele Silanesu did not say if it will be a slate-type tablet or a tablet with physical keyboard but claims Samsung will definitely launch it “in the future or coming into next year”.

He also spilled about multitouch monitors and plans of Samsung transforming its monitor range to LED backlight.

“I’m pretty sure that coming into the middle to the end of next year, LED will be the norm across the range.”

Finally, he touched about the happenings in the 3D world and it seems Samsung and Nvidia are working together to convert 2D content into 3D.
