Samsung today announced their association with Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games as a worldwide presenting partner of the Digital Concierge for Singapore 2010. Under this deal, Samsung will provide 5,000 units of OmniaLITE (B7300) phones to the authorities as well as participating athletes.
The phone will be pre-loaded with Digital Concierge for Singapore 2010 app that will enable users to personalize schedules, maps, sport results, social networking, a multi-lingual dictionary and more.
Samsung has somewhat a similar sponsorship for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics where Omnia II is the official device and has an app known as WOW to track happenings of the Olympic Games.
