Samsung N150 netbook at CES

Samsung in partnership with Microsoft has created a “PC for Children”, which is nothing but an N150 netbook with some children-centric features. Running Windows 7, the netbook features an application that allows to set permissions and policies for the children. It asks for the child’s name and age and it automatically adjusts the level of security and restrictions accordingly. Additionally, Samsung has also partnered with websites like FragFinn, WEB and GMX.

On the hardware front, N150 boasts Duracase chassis which is said to provide protection against rough usage, is spill resistant up to 50mm and has a non-reflective LED backlit display.

Samsung has not revealed the price but is scheduled to go on shelves in second half of 2010. It will be exhibited at CeBIT 2010.
