As Samsung had promised, they showed off their semiconductor plant to journalists and confirmed that their plant is free from any chemicals and radioactive elements that can cause cancer among its employees.
“There is no risk,” said Cho Soo-in, president of Samsung’s memory chip division when asked about the working conditions.
However, Samsung has agreed to co-operate into a reinvestigation that will be done by a group of experts and have promised to resolve any discrepancies found in the investigation.
Samsung’s decision to clear the allegations and give a press tour came after the death of a 23-year old Samsung employee due to leukemia.
