If you’ve been following the scene between outraged Behold II users and Samsung, you must be aware that Samsung won’t provide Behold II users Android 2.1 as promised but will give Android 1.6. Now Phandroid is reporting that Android’s 1.6 update will reach Behold II users on June 28. It’s not an official confirmation but site claims to have it on “good authority.”
The new features expected with the update are Google Maps Navigation, Google Voice Search capability, quick search box for Android, Swype, an improved Media Player, updated core Android applications and improved Bluetooth capabilities.
