Samsung Dive service remotely locks, wipes your Wave, Galaxy S for free

Samsung Dive

Samsung trumpets Wave and Galaxy S’ superior hardware features but we haven’t heard much about a very nifty feature called as Samsung Dive. Dive is an extension of Mobile Tracker that takes the service on the web helping users to lock or wipe down the phone in case of a theft or loss.

Other things you can do from the web is receive notifications as soon as the SIM card is changed and receive location of the phone. The last feature Samsung says, will be available in selected countries due to legal and security reasons. However, to take advantage of this service, you’ll need to activate Mobile Tracker on your phone and link your Samsung account with the device.

Samsung Dive is currently available in UK and Germany only. More countries will be added soon.
