Samsung Galaxy S sales surpass 200,000 units in South Korea

Samsung Galaxy S on SKT

It took six days for Galaxy S to pass the 100,000 sales figure mark and now they’ve crossed the double in just 4 days. On July 3, Galaxy S that is currently sold via SKT in South Korea surpassed the 200,000 sales figure in just 10 days. It is undoubtedly the most successful launch for Samsung and SKT, who is claiming to have seen substantial increase in the ARPU (Average revenue per user) as well.

In addition to powerful hardware, another reason that contributed to Galaxy S’ sales is the integration of localized content. The phone comes with SKT’s T-Store, Kyobo e-book app and more.
