Samsung Intercept officially comes to Sprint for $99

Samsung Intercept

Samsung has officially introduced the recently leaked Intercept (SPH-M910) Android phone. The phone will be released on Sprint on July 11 and will target consumers seeking an entry-level smartphone.

For just $99 (after $100 mail-in rebate), a user will get an Android 2.1 running smartphone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, EVDO Rev. 0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2MP camera, microSD card slot, Bluetooth and Sprint services. Samsung seems have left out TouchWiz from the phone in order to keep the cost to minimum.

Nonetheless, we hope that it does get Android 2.2 in the near future.
