Samsung working on US Galaxy S GPS fix, to be released in September

Samsung’s Galaxy S is an almost perfect device except the glitch that it fails to get a GPS lock quickly. Now Samsung USA has confirmed that they’re working on a software to improve GPS fix. Though the confirmation only mentions the US Galaxy S variants, we assume the GPS issue will be resolved in the international version as well.

As far as release date goes, Samsung says it will be sometime in September, which also happens to be the expected month for Galaxy S’ Froyo update.
