Samsung has expanded its DualView family in South Korea with the introduction of two new point-and-shoot digital cameras. Both the new cameras support 14.2 megapixel resolution and feature two displays – one at the back measuring 3.5-inches and another in the front with an 1.8-inch display.
Inclusion of a front display allows users to take better self-portrait shots and also includes some new features like a couples-mode which will trigger the shutter when the camera detects two faces tilting towards each other, children mode that plays some animation on the front screen and jump shot for group photos that gives a visual aid to the subjects so as when to jump.
Additionally, the cameras support dual-image stabilization, 5x optical zoom and 30fps 720p HD video recording.
ST600 and ST100 will be available in various colors for 429,000 won and 419,000 won respectively.
