Samsung and AT&T announce affordable Solstice II touchscreen phone

Samsung and AT&T have unveiled a new touchscreen phone for the masses – Solstice II. The phone’s specs are nothing to boast of but for $29.99 (on contract), a user will get a 3-inch touchscreen display, 3G support, TouchWiz 2.0 UI, 2MP camera, A-GPS, Vlingo speech-to-text, Bluetooth 2.1 and microSD card slot.

Solstice II will also start selling from November 7.
