T-Mobile Galaxy Tab hacked to make phone calls

November 16, 2010 By kunal Leave a Comment

T-Mobile Tab

If you’ve been following Galaxy Tab’s release in US then you must be aware that the variants selling in the United States do not support voice calling feature. Thankfully, folks over at XDA Developer have figured out a way to circumvent this restriction – at least on the T-Mobile variant.

The hack works by reflashing the T-Mobile Galaxy Tab with the files from the international Galaxy Tab (P1000) that supports voice calling.

Interested users will have to toil a bit to achieve the desire result but will sacrifice on the data speed, as it works only with EDGE.
