Galaxy S (SC-02B) that is currently on sale in Japan has got a follower from the dark side. NTT DoCoMo brought Darth Vader at the Galaxy S’ launch in Japan and now the villain is seen in DoCoMo’s commercial following Galaxy S users wherever they go.
The concept according to a NTT DoCoMo spokesperson is that the Darth Vader is playing a human representation of customizable DoCoMo phones, which apparently is working well considering NTT DoCoMo sold off the initial batch to 50k units in the first week itself.
