Samsung has announced PL20 and ES80 point-and-shoot digital cameras for consumers seeking decent quality pictures at a very affordable price.
The PL20 is the high-end here that features a 14MP sensor with a 27mm wide-angle lens, 5X optical zoom, digital image stabilization, smart filters, face detection and even 720p HD video recording support. PL20 will sell from next month for $120.
The ES80 on the other hand, has a 12MP sensor with a similar lens supporting up to 5X optical zoom and same features except HD video recording from PL20. ES80 will start retailing from April for just $100.
Both camera will be available in four colors — Silver, Tomato Red, Pink and Black.
