Galaxy I500 for Reliance

If you’re a subscriber of Reliance CDMA and have been waiting to use a high-end Android phone, well, here’s some good news. Samsung and Reliance will soon launch the Galaxy I500, a CDMA variant of Samsung’s bestseller Galaxy S.

The phone goes by the model number SCH-I500 which also belongs to Verizon’s Galaxy S phone, Fascinate.

There are some differences between the Galaxy I500 and the GSM variant. The CDMA version will come loaded with Android 2.1 OS and feature LED flash for the camera, 2GB internal memory and support Kies Mini.

Other specs include a 4-inch Super AMOLED (WVGA) screen, 1GHz CPU, EVDO Rev. A, 5MP camera, HD video support, DLNA, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery.

Thanks, Ketan!
