Samsung Exynos 4210

Samsung has announced its that application processors for smart phones and tablets will now be segregated under a new brand name called Exynos.

The word Exynos is derived from Greek words exypnos and prasinos meaning smart and green respectively that goes with Samsung’s Smart and Green strategy for semiconductors.

The first product to be named under the new nomenclature will be its dual-core Orion processor which will now be known as Exynos 4210.

Exynos 4210 is slated to go into production from next month.
