Nvidia confirms Samsung Tegra 2 phone is Galaxy S II variant

March 3, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

We did speculate earlier but now Nvidia has confirmed that the Samsung phone using the Tegra 2 chip is indeed their upcoming Galaxy S II. ITProPortal was shown a presentation slide where Nvidia mentioned “three smartphone design wins for the Tegra 2 SoC,” including Samsung Galaxy S II.

The regions where Samsung will switch the processor from their own Exynos 4210 SoC is unknown.

Rest of the features in the Tegra 2-equipped Galaxy S II (I9103) is expected to be the same.

Thanks, Ral798!
