UPDATE: UK operator Three has confirmed to launch the device along with some more specs. It will have Android 2.2, 800MHz CPU, 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Social Hub Premium.
That was super quick. Moments ago we posted about Samsung’s upcoming candybar-QWERTY device and here we are, with its name and images. The phone known as Galaxy Pro was unveiled today at Samsung SEA Forum in Singapore. Full specs are still a mystery but a touchscreen display, four-row QWERTY keyboard, camera and TouchWiz UI are confirmed.
aaah its ALMOST perfect! but it should have a flash for the camera on the back. Now its just like my OLD E61i. and 3mp are WAY TOO little. it shouldve been 5MP at least! nice phone, but it lacks some serious features
i was searching for correct model name and number i am stil not sure about its legal standard model given by Samsung company is called Galaxy Pro 181Tech Specs. however easy to remember as (Samsung Candybar QWERTY 2.2 froyo Android)
i feel this will be good business phone
it gave me feeling that its 50/50 balanced designed modeled like iPhone.
50% of the space is covers by QWERTY buttons , like mini laptop in your hand. 🙂
rest 50% is display that has touch screen.
i always admire this balance options.
i wish it had Super AMOLED touch screen with long battery life. coz i am sure many browse from their mobile phone than on their laptop.
Globally these days people are use mobile phone to browse, Google search or mobile Google maps GPS. or social networking through Facebook
i am sure it has easy facility to back up all your contact numbers for free from your old phone to your new ( Samsung candybar android 2.2 Froyo ) .
