Samsung ultrathin Series 9 laptop that enamored the public at CES this year will be available in United States from tomorrow. Best Buy and select retailers/e-tailers will start selling the Series 9 notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium OS for $1,649. For users wanting to buy the 13-inch notebook with Windows 7 Professional, they’ll have to wait till mid-April and will cost $1,699.
Samsung 9 Series notebook’s thinnest point stands at just 15.9mm and features 1.4GHz Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel HD graphics, Wi-Fi and battery life of about 7 hours.
Samsung will also add an 11-inch model in the 9 Series in mid-April. There’s no word on the price of the smaller variant but it will expectedly be cheaper considering lower specs like Core i3 CPU clocked at 1.33GHz, 2GB RAM, 64GB SSD, Intel GMA HD graphics, Wi-Fi etc.
